More Good Days Workshop
Date: Tuesday, June 9th, 2026
Time: 7-9 pm
Location: Meadow York | 4908 York Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90042
Description: An in-person community workshop with Kristine Claghorn and Shana Rehwald to learn practical tools to move from burnout and self-criticism toward self-compassion, clarity, and self-trust. Together, we’ll explore what a good day actually looks and feels like, how stress and self-criticism shape your experience, and how to respond to yourself differently.
Through a mix of guided reflection, journaling, and supportive conversation, participants will leave with a clearer sense of what supports you, what drains you, and simple ways to return to yourself with compassion when things are challenging.
You’ll leave with your own “good day” map: a clearer sense of what you need, simple tools to use when things feel challenging, and a more compassionate way to relate to yourself in the middle of real life.
You are very welcome to come solo or with friends! There will be no pressure to share more than feels right for you.
There will also be snacks and sips, including cardamom buns from Sofia at Bun Bun Bakery.
This workshop is for you if:
- You want your days to feel less heavy and more spacious, with more room for choice.
- You’ve been feeling stretched thin, hard on yourself, overwhelmed, or disconnected from what actually supports you.
- You want to understand what drains your energy, what helps support you, and how to respond to yourself with more compassion when life feels hard.
The workshop will be led by:
Kristine Claghorn is a certified compassion educator and coach trained through Stanford University’s Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education. Through her coaching work, she helps people who feel stuck, burnt out, and caught in cycles of stress and self-criticism build more clarity, self-compassion, and self-trust. She has also worked with Stanford CCARE, the Global Compassion Coalition, and the psychology podcast Being Well with Dr. Rick Hanson and Forrest Hanson.
Shana Rehwald is a community builder, facilitator, and founder of the Me-est Me™ Journal, which has been named one of the best guided journals by Shape, SELF, and Real Simple. Her work grew out of her own experience with burnout, self-discovery, and major life change. Today, she creates tools and experiences that help people pause, reconnect, and take more intentional action in their lives.
